They are shock absorbing rolls with discs on the base and steel roll design, which resist and absorb the pressure created by the materials falling on the belt in heavy loaded belt conveyors carrying large pieces of material.
They can be used for transporting a wide variety of loads, as well as conveying and transferring materials on machinery and assembly lines. Unit goods, angular or cylindrical items, and boxed or packaged products can be transported horizontally or on an incline.
Products are conveyed on rollers positioned at regular intervals along the conveyor frame. They are classified into two types based on their operation: driven (powered) and gravity (free) rollers.
In gravity roller conveyors, material transport is achieved through height difference (gravity), an initial push system, or human/machine force. In these systems, force is applied directly to the load. The rollers rotate due to the friction of the load moving along the conveyor bed.
In driven roller conveyors, the rollers are powered by a chain driven by a motor-reducer system running along the conveyor. Driven rollers are rotated around their axes by a motor, and motion is transmitted to the transported goods via friction.
Roller spacing, diameters, and materials are determined by the type of product being transported. Galvanized, rubber, or PVC-coated rollers are designed to meet customer requirements. Usage areas and capacities vary depending on the intended application.
- Shaft diameters are 12-15-20-25-30-40-50mm.
- Production is made up to 3000 mm wide bands.
- 6000 series bearings are used.
